The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy that govern your use of StratOS. Last updated October 11, 2026.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using StratOS (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.

2. The Service

StratOS provides AI-assisted business analysis tools, including board-style decision analysis, idea scoring, market and economic briefings, finance tracking, reporting and planning features. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may change over time.

3. Not professional advice

Nothing produced by the Service constitutes financial, legal, tax, investment or other professional advice. Board analyses, idea scores and Terminal briefings are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions or outdated information. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on the Service's output, and you should consult a qualified professional before making significant business, financial or legal decisions.

4. Data accuracy

Terminal briefings cite figures from external sources, including official economic databases and live web search. While every figure is required to carry a source or be marked "No data," StratOS does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of third-party data. You are responsible for verifying figures before relying on them.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Each plan starts with a 7-day free trial (one per account). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged the plan price and the plan renews automatically each month in US dollars until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the Plans page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider — StratOS never stores your full card details. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) misuse the Service or interfere with its operation; (b) attempt to access other users' accounts or data; (c) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (d) reverse-engineer, scrape or resell the Service; or (e) submit content you have no right to use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Your content

You retain all rights to the ideas, financial entries and other content you submit. You grant StratOS a limited license to process that content solely to provide the features you request. We do not sell your content or use it to advertise to you.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding and software, is owned by the operator and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to use the StratOS name, logo or branding.

10. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRATOS AND ITS OPERATOR ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR BUSINESS DECISIONS — ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers and limitations of liability) survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated terms on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect: (a) account information — your email address and sign-in method; (b) content you create — ideas, financial accounts and transactions, Terminal briefings, tasks, features and meeting analyses; (c) subscription and billing status (card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us); and (d) basic technical data needed to operate the Service, such as session tokens.

2. How we use it

We use your information solely to provide and improve the Service: authenticating you, storing your content, processing your AI analysis requests, billing your subscription and keeping the Service secure. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content to advertise to you.

3. AI processing

When you request an analysis, the relevant content is sent to AI model providers to generate the result. This processing happens only to fulfil your request. AI output may be stored on your account so your sessions persist.

4. Third-party data sources

Terminal briefings query external data sources — including official economic databases and live web search — based on the location or topic you enter. Those queries are sent to the relevant providers to retrieve the data shown to you.

5. Who can see your data

Your ideas, finances, briefings and other content are private to your account and protected by access controls enforced at the database level. Other users cannot see your data, except that on an Enterprise team, members can see the board sessions, Terminal briefings, tasks and improvements shared within that team (finances and ideas stay private). We access user content only where necessary to operate, secure or support the Service. For board sessions created on or after October 11, 2026, an authorized StratOS administrator may view session content (questions, board responses and follow-ups) for support, quality review and abuse prevention; every such view or export is recorded in an audit log. Sessions created before that date are not shown to administrators. Administrators never see passwords, API keys or payment card details. Aggregated usage statistics (counts, modes, response times and estimated AI costs) are used to run and improve the Service.

6. Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to operate: cloud hosting and database infrastructure, a payment processor for subscriptions, and AI model providers for analysis features. Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its service to us.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Board sessions are kept for up to 24 months after they are created and are then deleted, along with their usage records. You may delete individual records within the app at any time. If you want your account and all associated data deleted, contact us at the email below and we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections, authenticated access and row-level database access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but protecting your data is a core design requirement of the Service.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law; we will honor verifiable requests as required.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
